Responsibilities

• Provide overall dining room management, ensuring smooth operation of the dining room, including meal service, staffing, and adherence to quality standards.
• Hire, train, and manage dining room staff to ensure high levels of service.
• Collaborates with and supports the Culinary Services Director.
• Oversee the dining room budget, including labor costs, equipment procurement, and inventory control.
• Interact with residents to gather feedback and implement improvements as needed.
• Ensure dining services comply with health codes, safety regulations, and sanitation practices.
• Coordinate special dining events and holiday meals to create a positive dining experience.
• Act as liaison between dining room, kitchen staff, and Culinary Director for coordination of services.
• Monitor presentation and quality of food to meet standards and resident expectations.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labor costs.
