Milestone Retirement is hiring a Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for its residents. You will deliver high-quality service at meals, maintain a clean dining environment, and support a collaborative team to foster a welcoming community.

You’ll interact with residents, families, and coworkers, ensuring dietary needs are met and safety practices are followed. This role emphasizes compassion for the elderly and professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in food service preferred
• Current ServSafe Certification required
• Ability to obtain/hold any local, state, or county food handling/sanitation licenses as required
• Must be 18 years or older, pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, and background checks
• First Aid certification required
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents’ dining preferences and dietary needs are met
• Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment
• Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards
• Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment
• Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy
• Perform other duties as assigned
