Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking an experienced Culinary Services Director to lead all dining operations for residents. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals while fostering a clean, safe, and welcoming dining experience for our residents.

You will supervise the culinary team, develop menus, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with clinical and activities staff to enhance resident satisfaction and dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management experience in food service, hospitality, senior living, or healthcare.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of nutritional guidelines and special diets.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all dining services operations, including food quality, service, sanitation, and safety.
• Develop and implement menus that meet residents’ nutritional needs and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal food service, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise dining services team members.
• Manage food and supply inventory within budget guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining areas and kitchen spaces.
• Partner with the Activities team to plan special events and themed meals.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to address feedback and concerns.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in service standards, presentation, and overall dining experience.
