Claiborne Senior Living is seeking an experienced Culinary Services Director to lead all aspects of our dining operations for residents. This hands-on role delivers high-quality, nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment while upholding our standards and values.

You will mentor a culinary team, partner with clinical, operations, and activities teams, and drive resident satisfaction through menu development and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management experience in food service, hospitality, senior living, or healthcare.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of nutritional guidelines, special diets, and food service best practices.
• ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining services operations including food quality, service, sanitation, and safety.
• Develop and implement menus meeting nutritional needs, preferences, and special diets.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal food service, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise dining services team members.
• Manage food and supply inventory within budget guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining areas and kitchen spaces.
• Collaborate with Activities to plan events and themed meals.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members to address feedback.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in service standards and presentation.
