Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare meals for residents and guests. You will follow menus and recipes, plate dishes, and support a positive team environment in a resident-focused dining program.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least three years of line cook experience, plus strong communication skills. Comprehensive benefits are available across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of line cook experience or training.
• Good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menus and standard recipes.
• Plate items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain freshness, proper seasoning and cooking status of all foods.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Present a professional appearance in uniform.
