The Pennant Group, Inc. seeks a Cook for our senior living community in California. You will prepare meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner, follow recipes, and ensure safety and sanitation.

You will collaborate with the Food Service Director to manage stock and meet residents' dining expectations. Requires at least 1 year of cooking experience and Serv-Safe certification or ability to obtain it. The starting rate is $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking experience including short order cooking.
• Experience with quantity cooking and standard recipes.

Responsabilités

• Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to residents and staff.
• Maintain sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food prep.
• Read and follow recipes to ensure product consistency.
• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned.
• Order, receive, and rotate stock with the Food Service Director.
• Assist with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations.
• Be knowledgeable in food prep techniques and presentation.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
