Job summary

Luther Village, a 55+ retirement community in Arlington Heights, seeks team-oriented individuals with a positive attitude for its Food & Beverage team. The role involves taking dinner orders, using a POS system, and coordinating with the kitchen in a fast-paced dining setting.

Candidates must have strong English reading/writing skills, be able to stand and walk extensively, and lift up to 25 pounds. Training will be provided; prior restaurant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school-level reading, writing, and communication skills in English are required.
• Good customer service, order and table organization, and attention to detail are required.
• Positive attitude, professional image, team player, personable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
• Extensive walking and standing for extended periods of time, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
