Job summary

Luther Village in Arlington Heights is seeking friendly individuals to join our Dining Department. This role offers a non-tipping environment with a consistent hourly pay rate, and an end-of-year bonus. 16 hours per week, Tue-Sat, 4-8 pm, with opportunities to grow within a team that values resident experiences.

Candidates should have strong customer service skills, be team players, and able to operate a POS system. Restaurant experience is a plus but training will be provided.

Requirements:

Candidate must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday, 4-8 pm, 16 hours per week.

Customer service is a priority, and attention to detail is required. Responsible for taking accurate dinner/drink orders and utilizing a computerized point of sale system, and be able to communicate accurately with the kitchen. Restaurant experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.

Position pays $15.60 per hour.

High school-level English reading, writing, and communication skills are required.

Good customer service, organization of orders and tables, and attention to detail are required.

Positive attitude, professional image, team player, personable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.

Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.

Extensive walking and standing for extended periods of time, and lifting up to 25 pounds

Position pays $15.60 per hour.
