Job summary

ISH Dining Services is seeking staff to provide dining services in our care facility. You will prepare meals and tray service according to menus and therapeutic diet orders, ensuring accurate portions and timely delivery to guests/residents.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of menu items, serving meals with hospitality, and upholding cleanliness, health, and dietary record-keeping in compliance with local and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepares dining and tray service according to menus and follows therapeutic diet orders.
• Maintains knowledge of menu items and can provide general description to the guests/residents.
• Responsible for serving meals, beverages and requested items according to established dietary and skilled nursing guidelines.
• Responds to the dining needs of the guests/residents while maintaining hospitality and service standards.
• Prepares and delivers snacks and nourishments as directed.
• Obtains food and supplies for meal service as directed.
• Maintains accurate records of resident's dietary needs.
• Follows all local, state/provincial and federal policies regarding food handling.
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards.
