Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia seeks a Dietary Aide HCC to assist with food prep, meal service, and related duties in a patient-focused facility. You will follow established guidelines for food handling, sanitation, and inventory and contribute to a friendly dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or preparation is preferred.
• Long term care dietary experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation, desserts and snacks for patients/residents.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Serve meals in dining area; including beverages.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and serve per guidelines.
• Offer menu substitutions and record them as required.
• Follow procedures for serving partner meals.
• Communicate with patients/residents and families with a warm, helpful demeanor.
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies in the work area.
• Attend mandatory in-services and maintain licensure/certifications as required.
