Job summary

PruittHealth is hiring a Dietary Aide HCC to support meal preparation, tray delivery, and dining room service for residents. You will assist cooks, follow food-handling policies, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role includes helping with nourishments, recording substitutions, and upholding sanitation standards in a patient-focused setting. On-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• On-the-job training is provided.
• Experience in food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation and desserts for patients/residents.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Deliver and serve meals in dining area; beverages included.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments (sandwiches, etc.).
• Record menu substitutions and ensure they follow guidelines.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures in all tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas and equipment.
