Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long‑term care facility. You will support dining services with food preparation and attentive, compassionate service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to food safety guidelines, and positive interactions with residents and staff. A high school diploma is preferred; ServSafe certification may be required by state law; prior food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no degree required.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds and be able to stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
