Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary requirements, assist with food prep, and ensure a clean, sanitary dining environment to support a positive resident experience.

No heavy prior experience required; a high school diploma is preferred. ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with building occupants and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Must lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Residency within the service area required.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
