Job summary

Aventura Health Group's Assumption Village is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to support kitchen operations, maintain clean dishes, sanitize areas, and assist with basic meal prep for residents and staff.

You will set up dining areas, help prepare meals under guidance, deliver trays, and ensure hygiene and inventory. Join a compassionate team focused on resident wellbeing and high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to assist with meal preparation according to instructions.
• Friendly demeanor and good communication skills.
• Physical ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Food service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on time.
• Assist with post-meal cleanup and clearing tables.
• Dispose of leftovers and take out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and equipment.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
• Contribute to upkeep of kitchen equipment.
