Job summary

Aventura at Assumption Village is seeking a Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to support kitchen operations by maintaining clean dishes, sanitizing work areas, and assisting with basic meal preparation for patients and staff. Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, preparing meals under guidance, delivering trays, and maintaining hygiene.

Qualifications

• Must have prior dietary aide experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to prepare meals per instructions and recipes.
• Friendly demeanor with good communication and teamwork.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas and tables with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under dietary manager guidance following safety standards.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on time.
• Assist with post-meal cleanup and clearing dining areas.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations, dishes, cookware, and utensils clean.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with inventory.
• Help in upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
