Lima Care Community is seeking a Dietary Aide to support food service operations, meal preparation, and tray delivery in a long-term care setting. You will work closely with nursing staff to ensure resident meals meet dietary specifications and are delivered on time.

Responsibilities include food prep assistance, sanitation, tray assembly, and responding to requests from residents and staff. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Be a supportive team member and contribute to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all food functions per established policies.
• Follow food safety procedures and sanitation standards.
• Prepare and deliver meals to nurses' station and residents' trays.
• Arrange meals per diets and menus; place on trays at meal times.
• Deliver trays on the nursing floor and collect dishware.
• Break down trays, clean work areas, and restock supplies.
• Take phone requests from nursing staff and residents; fulfill promptly.
