Lima Care Community in Lima, Ohio is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious meals and compassionate service. You will follow established food policies, assist cooks, and help ensure mealtime routines run smoothly for every resident.

This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and safe food handling. You’ll prepare meals, deliver trays, and maintain clean work areas while supporting residents’ dietary plans and comfort.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and policies.
• Strong teamwork and communication with staff.
• English language reading/writing/speaking required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time.
• Willingness to learn food service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist food functions per policies.
• Prepare and deliver meals to nurses' station as needed.
• Set up resident meals trays according to diets.
• Deliver and retrieve meal trays to/from nursing floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dishwashing.
• Accept calls from nursing staff and residents and respond promptly.
• Assist cook with meal preparations and substitutions.
• Restock supplies and help with special meals.
