Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare's Greenville Care Center in Ohio is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily meal service for residents. You will assist in food preparation, tray assembly, and delivery, while following established policies and diets.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to hygiene, and independent decision-making when needed; prior food service experience is helpful, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to all food functions per policies and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver to the nurses' station for med passes.
• Prepare resident meals trays according to specified diets.
• Deliver meal trays to nursing floors and collect trays.
• Break down trays and clean/dispose of items per guidelines.
• Assist in food preparation for special meals and substitutions.
