Job summary

Eminent Care Group in Ohio is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support all food service functions in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role requires the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, plus on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.
Follow oral and written instructions.
Maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, appearance of work areas, and inspect food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance.
Display patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm with residents regardless of maturity level.
Seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into food practices.
Not pose a direct threat to health or safety in the workplace.
Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Readiness to complete all tasks as assigned by the Director, Supervisor, or designee.
