Job summary

Journey is seeking a dedicated food service team member in Ohio to support meal preparation, tray assembly, and delivery in accordance with health and safety standards. You will work closely with residents, families, and staff to ensure timely, accurate service.

Ideal applicants have a High School diploma and may have prior food service experience; state dietary requirements and nursing home regulations must be understood.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Must be qualified per state dietary and nursing home requirements.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Service: Assist with meal prep, tray assembly, and food delivery while following sanitation and safety standards.
• Equipment & Area Maintenance: Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, clean and sanitize food prep areas, and manage waste disposal.
• Inventory & Communication: Help store supplies, manage dietary tray cards, and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and facility staff.
