Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals per dietary needs, and maintain cleanliness in the dining and kitchen areas.

Join a team focused on delivering high-quality resident experiences. Prior food service experience is welcome but not required, and vaccination policy compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is welcome but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand/bend/walk for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
