Job summary

GY Properties, a Philadelphia-based real estate company, is seeking aResident Coordinator to support day-to-day resident relations across Center City properties. You will handle communications, events, vendor coordination, and promotional outreach to enhance the resident experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized with 1–3 years in hospitality, leasing, or property management, proficient in MS Office, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of customer service, hospitality, property management, leasing, administrative, or related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for resident calls, walk-ins, emails, and inquiries.
  • Address and troubleshoot routine resident concerns before escalation.
  • Assist with resident-related matters, vendor coordination, and marketing project support.
  • Maintain records, monitor deadlines, support reporting and data tracking.
  • Update pricing in Entrata using pricing trackers.
  • Create and distribute resident communications and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate signage and marketing projects with vendors and onsite teams.
  • Support resident retention and community engagement initiatives.

Position Summary

The Resident Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for residents across a portfolio of Center City Philadelphia properties. This role supports day-to-day resident relations, property operations, marketing initiatives, and community engagement programs through communication, administrative coordination, event planning, and promotional outreach. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer service-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering an exceptional resident experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for resident calls, walk-ins, emails, and office inquiries, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Address and troubleshoot routine resident concerns before escalating issues to Property Management.
  • Assist with resident-related matters, vendor coordination, building operations, and other administrative and operational projects.
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor deadlines, support report auditing and data tracking, and ensure resident and property information is up to date.
  • Update and maintain pricing in Entrata using established pricing trackers.
  • Create and distribute resident and prospect communications, including promotions, event announcements, community updates, reminders, marketing campaigns, and ancillary service program communications.
  • Manage the distribution and implementation of marketing materials, digital assets, and on-site collateral, ensuring material stays up to date.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing resident events, open houses, and community engagement activities, including vendor coordination, event communications, and event setup.
  • Maintain inventory and distribution of promotional materials, branded merchandise, welcome packages, and marketing collateral for residents and prospective renters.
  • Coordinate signage and marketing projects with vendors, onsite teams, and the Marketing Department.
  • Support resident retention, satisfaction, and community engagement initiatives to enhance the overall resident experience.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Adherence to the company's mission and values in all aspects of the job.
  • 1-3 years of customer service, hospitality, property management, leasing, administrative, or related experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of property management operations, resident relations, leasing principles, and property management software preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Property Management, Marketing, vendors, and residents.
  • Highly motivated creative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience with Canva, email marketing platforms, social media, or event coordination is a plus.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background screening (and effective June 1, 2026, a pre-employment drug screening).
Salary and Benefits

The compensation for this position is $40,000/year . This commensurate with qualifications and experience. This full-time position is considered exempt from overtime pay under the federal and state wage and hour laws.
