MGMT Residential seeks a professional Leasing Consultant to support the management and general business operations of its residential portfolio.
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for the administration, coordination, and execution of leasing operations, marketing initiatives, and compliance processes, while exercising independent judgment and discretion on matters that impact revenue performance, operational efficiency, and resident experience.
The Leasing Consultant serves as a key operational liaison between property management, marketing, and prospective residents, and plays a meaningful role in supporting occupancy strategy and regulatory adherence.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducts market analysis to determine pricing strategy, incentives....
- Administer leasing operations in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing standards, and applicable local and federal regulations, exercising judgment in the interpretation and application of established procedures.
- Review and assess applicant documentation for compliance with company standards, identifying exceptions, deficiencies, or issues requiring escalation or resolution.
- Maintain oversight of leasing workflows, documentation accuracy, and system processes to ensure operational consistency and risk mitigation.
- Monitor leasing activity, prospect pipelines, and waitlists, and prepare reports and updates for company management regarding leasing performance and trends.
- Coordinate leasing related timelines, including application progression and resident onboarding, to support efficient operations.
- Support the execution of marketing initiatives by coordinating outreach efforts, messaging, and presentation in alignment with company objectives and brand standards.
- Conduct pre move in apartment inspections and coordinate readiness standards to support quality control and resident experience.
- Apply professional judgment when addressing non routine leasing situations, applicant questions, and operational issues, escalating when appropriate.
- Collaborate with property management and internal teams to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies within leasing functions.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned in support of business needs.
Secondary responsibilities:
- Participate in prospect engagement activities as needed to support leasing operations, without such activities constituting the primary function of the role.
- Assist with special projects, reporting initiatives, audits, and operational rollouts.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from company offices and leasing properties in Roxborough, Manayunk, and other areas of Philadelphia.
- Availability to show properties on weekends and early evenings
- Fluent in Microsoft Office and the Google suite of Office products
- High School degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Yardi software
- 3+ years’ experience in marketing, customer services, sales
- Fair Housing training
- Knowledge of the Philadelphia rental market and our target neighborhoods of Roxborough and Manayunk
