Job summary

West Roxbury Health & Rehabilitation Center in Boston is seeking a Registered Speech Language Pathologist to provide individualized therapy for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.

You will design treatment plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure high-quality care while maintaining documentation and regulatory standards. A master's in SLP, state license, and CCC or CFY eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Speech Language Pathology license in the applicable state.
• CCC or CFY eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their communication, cognitive, swallowing, and functional needs.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement therapeutic interventions designed to improve communication, cognition, swallowing function, and independence.
• Complete timely assessments, screenings, progress notes, and clinical documentation.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment approaches to support meaningful outcomes.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support continued progress and success.
