Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy required.
• CCC-SLP credential from ASHA.
• Current state license or eligibility through Clinical Fellowship Year.
• Ongoing commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services to patients and initiates referrals per department procedures.
• Conducts screenings to determine intervention needs and plans treatment accordingly.
• Evaluates residents and develops individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Obtains physician orders and documents treatment plans and progress.
• Communicates evaluation findings to patients, families, and team members.
• Develops and implements treatment plans addressing speech, language, swallowing, and related functions.
• Supervises Rehabilitation Technicians, students and volunteers as needed.
• Maintains documentation in line with department standards and HIPAA regulations.
• Participates in quality assurance activities and supports community education.
