Job summary

Avesta Housing is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operational, financial, and compliance health of a diverse Maine portfolio. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate with Resident Services, and ensure a welcoming, well-maintained living environment for residents.

This full-time role requires strong judgment, budgeting, and communication skills, with regular travel between Standish and Buxton.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management.
• Experience managing multi-family housing.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Experience with contract preparation and monitoring budgets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations from move-ins to lease renewals.
• Coordinate with maintenance and site management to deliver quality living environments.
• Manage financials, budgeting, and compliance across properties.
• Collaborate with Resident Services and community partners to foster inclusion.
