Job summary

INLIVIAN is seeking a Leasing Agent to be the primary contact for prospective residents and to manage the leasing process for Blue Horizon Mgmt. Co properties. You will assist with applications, verify eligibility, prepare leases, and maintain accurate records.

You will work under the Property Manager, coordinating with staff to ensure compliance with HUD regulations and local guidelines while delivering excellent customer service and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• One year of leasing, clerical, or resident intake experience required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for prospective residents; responds to inquiries (phone and in person).
• Manages leasing process and assists with applications.
• Ensures compliance with HUD regulations, policies, and procedures; recommends improvements.
• Monitors waiting lists and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Shows units, interviews applicants, and explains eligibility and rent calculations.
• Prepares contracts, leases, and move-in packets; processes cancellations and denials.
• Maintains accurate records and generates leasing and occupancy reports.
• Assists with special projects and supports other department activities.
