Sunshine Retirement Living is seeking a dedicated food service team member to prepare meals according to community menus and recipes. You will work with a team to ensure timely, nutritious meals while upholding safety, sanitation, and quality standards in resident-focused service.

Responsibilities include reviewing menus, portion controls, producing meals, maintaining logs, and assisting with special events. A strong emphasis on teamwork and professional conduct is required.

Qualifications

• Must read and prepare recipes exactly as provided by the community.
• Knowledge of and adherence to food service sanitation practices.
• Strong English communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Team player with professional and respectful demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Review menus and daily production worksheets for instructions.
• Prepare meals following community menus and recipes.
• Follow portion-control standards and safe food-handling procedures.
• Ensure availability of food, supplies, and personnel for meals.
• Serve nutritious meals and maintain food temperature logs.
• Clean equipment and areas per sanitation schedules.
• Assist with set-up of special functions and cover other duties as assigned.
