Qualifications

• Two years of institutional or full-service restaurant cooking experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Must meet state or provincial health requirements.
• Maintain food handlers permit and required certifications.
• Understand food safety procedures and temperature control.

Responsibilities

• Review menus and production records for instructions.
• Prepare meals that are nutritious, appetizing, and plated attractively.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and portion-control policies.
• Ensure supplies are available and food is prepared on time.
• Supervise kitchen staff in absence of the Culinary Services Director.
• Support infection control and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
