Job summary

Brookdale is seeking an Executive Director-level leader to oversee day-to-day operations in a senior living community. You will manage occupancy, financial performance, and staff, while building strong resident relationships and community ties.

You will lead under the direction of an Executive Director, ensuring high service quality, regulatory compliance, and a positive community culture across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Gerontology, Business or related field required.
• 2–4 years proven management experience in retirement housing, hospitality or health care required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State license as a nursing home administrator and/or Assisted Living License required.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of an Executive Director, responsible for all operations, acting as contact for staff, residents, prospects, community orgs and the public.
• Manages occupancy and monthly financial performance for the property.
• Maintains positive working relationships with residents, resident families, employees and the business community.
• Hires, trains, disciplines and terminates employees in accordance with company policies and ensures training programs are effectively executed.
• Develops annual operating and capital budgets and maintains budget accountability to the Executive Director.
