Job summary

Westchester Commons, a 93-unit apartment community in Grand Prairie, TX, is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, occupancy, and resident relations. This role leads on-site staff, coordinates with HR, and ensures adherence to budgets and policies.

The Community Manager will drive renewals, chargebacks accuracy, and maintain property appearance while collaborating with corporate staff and Marketing to meet community goals.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year degree; 4-year degree preferred.
• Three years of multifamily property management experience preferred; tax credit experience preferred.
• Accounting and administrative background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations and ensure occupancy goals, renewals, and budgets are met.
• Supervise on-site staff and coordinate with HR on performance reviews and staffing decisions.
• Maintain resident relations and address resident issues promptly and fairly.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing procedures, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Process move-ins/move-outs with attention to unit inspections and chargebacks.
• Review lease agreements, coordinate with Marketing, and monitor work orders for timely completion.
