Job summary

Wallick Communities, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Community Manager for River's Edge in Covington, KY. This full-time role leads leasing and maintenance teams, manages payroll, and ensures financial and occupancy targets are met.

You'll work closely with residents and owners, oversee move-in/move-out inspections, maintain standards, and contribute to a supportive, growth-focused workplace with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year as a residential property manager; HUD/Section 8 experience a big plus.
• Or 3 years in a general manager role with strong leadership and process skills.
• High School diploma; associate’s degree a plus.
• COS/LIHTC/HCCP/AHM credentials are a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to resident-focused service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance staff to deliver a great resident experience.
• Process community payroll and manage financial records.
• Ensure rent collections and deposit receipts; process invoices and purchases.
• Maintain occupancy targets (minimum 98%); review rental applications.
• Complete move-out inspections; audit resident files; prepare required reports.
• Maintain community standards and perform other duties as assigned.
