Job summary

VA Butler Healthcare is seeking Nursing Assistants to provide direct care to Veterans in the Community Living Center. The role supports an inter-disciplinary team to promote safety, independence, comfort and well-being while honoring Veterans.

Qualifications

• Six months of general experience demonstrating ability to learn nursing assistant duties.
• One year of education beyond high school with nursing-related courses.
• Complete intensive occupation-related training less than one year as Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with ambulation.
• Provide resident-centered care under supervision of RN/LPN.
