Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the multifamily sector to support residents with timely repairs and quality move-ins.

The role covers plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance, with on-site responsibilities and strong customer service. A valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II are preferred; 1+ year of related experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

Must have High School Diploma or GED or trade/technical/vocational training.
1+ years of related maintenance experience.
Valid Driver's license; EPA 608 Type II and CPO or local city certificate.
Ability to read and understand documents such as manuals and safety rules.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret basic graphs.
Ability to handle problems with several variables in routine situations.
Ability to write routine reports and maintain records.
Follow all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepares and maintains make-ready apartments including painting, carpentry, and cleaning.
Responds to resident service requests in a timely, professional manner.
Performs maintenance tasks across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal as applicable.
Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities to ensure safety and cleanliness.
On-call may be required for after-hours emergencies.
Reports maintenance concerns to the supervisor and performs tasks as scheduled.
