Job summary

Prestige Senior Living – West Hills in Corvallis, Oregon, is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication services and direct resident care in a 66-apartment assisted living community. The role includes supporting daily activities, coordinating with pharmacies, and maintaining accurate medication records.

One or more years of personal care experience with older adults is preferred; state-certified medication pass, CPR, and First Aid are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• One or more years of personal care experience with older adults.
• Must hold state-required medication pass certification or other required certification.
• Must have CPR certification, First Aid training, and Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.
• Must complete all state required trainings as necessary.
• Word processing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the medication room and services as directed by the HSD and physician orders.
• Process physician medication and treatment orders in accordance with state regulations.
• Administer and assist with self-administration of medications as directed by physician orders.
• Maintain accurate records of medication and treatment services for each resident.
• Coordinate with pharmacies for medication orders and refills.
