Job summary

Prestige Senior Living in Medford, OR is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication services and direct resident care. You will support daily activities, maintain the medication room, and coordinate with pharmacies under the Health Services Director.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and compassionate care; requires state certification and CPR/First Aid; prior senior care experience preferred; EOE.

Qualifications

• One or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred.
• Must hold state required medication pass certification or other required certification, complete state required delegation and/or training requirements.
• Must have current CPR certification, First Aid training, and Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.
• Must complete all state required trainings as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of medication room and medication services as directed by Health Services Director.
• Process physician medication and treatment orders in accordance with state regulations and nurse practice act.
• Administer and assist with self-administration of routine and non-routine medications.
• Maintain accurate records of medication and treatment services provided or omitted.
