Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, follow safety and infection-control procedures, and interact positively with residents and staff to ensure a great living environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with prior housekeeping experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is needed; residency within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow safety and infection-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitation per established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure sanitary environments.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests providing excellent service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
