Job summary

Riverside Healthcare’s Riverside Senior Living is seeking a Wait Staff member to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents. You will take orders, serve meals, and maintain a welcoming dining area while coordinating with the dietary team.

Responsibilities include observing dietary restrictions, assisting with events, training new staff, and helping manage dining room inventory with a focus on professionalism, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, senior living, or healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification or ServSafe Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, take accurate meal orders, and relay to kitchen staff.
• Serve meals and beverages observing dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Engage with residents to ensure satisfaction and address requests.
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining area.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen and team members for smooth service.
• Document meal choices and dietary preferences as needed.
• Assist in preparation and service of meals for special events.
• Check inventory for dining room supplies and report shortages.
• Mentor and train new wait staff on dining room procedures.
