Job summary

Inspired Living in Ocoee, FL is seeking a part-time Cook to join our Dining Room team. The Cook supports the Restaurant and Hospitality Department, ensuring quality meals, adherence to dietary requirements, and high resident satisfaction during service.

Responsibilities include following the Menu Program, assisting with food purchasing practices, maintaining food safety, training staff, and collaborating with the Director to provide a welcoming dining experience for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in food service is required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coach in the Food Service Department.
• Follow the Menu Program and dietary restrictions as directed.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction and safe food handling practices.
• Maintain food temperatures and proper storage per safety standards.
• Ensure staff provides attentive service during meals and engages with residents.
