SEM Haven, Inc. is seeking a Cook to work cooperatively with residents, families and staff to prepare meals in accordance with Food Safety Sanitation standards and facility policies.

The cook actively promotes a positive meal experience with resident choice and a pleasant dining room environment, while supporting daily life activities in the household. The role emphasizes resident-centered care, teamwork, and performing tasks such as assisting with food preparation, serving, and simple requests

Qualifications

• Chef training preferred; experience in cooking in a food service setting, preferably in a health care facility.
• Certification in food safety.

Responsabilités

• Assist with food preparation and serving.
• Perform kitchen cleaning duties and maintain sanitation.
• Transport residents as needed.
• Attend household meetings/learning circles and fulfill simple resident requests.
