Job summary

Middle River Health and Rehab in South Range, WI seeks a Cook/Dietary professional to prepare and serve meals for residents, including special diets. You will maintain a clean, safe kitchen and support the dietary team in menu planning.

The role is full-time, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work weekends/holidays in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Prior experience is not required; training will be provided. Competitive salary and benefits TBD.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents, including special diets and requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Receive and stock inventory of food and supplies.
• Collaborate with dietary team to plan and prepare menus.
• Monitor and control food costs, waste, and inventory levels.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff.
