Job summary

Good Samaritan is recruiting a Medication Assistant to provide resident-centered nursing care in Mandan, ND. Under a charge nurse, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as delegated.

Expect cross-location support within a 75-mile radius and weekend shifts as needed. Requires CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, 3–6 months LTC experience preferred, and compliance with state competency requirements.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. CMA/TMA certifications may be required depending on facility type.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs and document care and outcomes.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range of motion exercises.
• Support dining, hydration, and psychosocial needs of residents.
