Job summary

Harri is seeking a warm and reliable Housekeeper to join our Birchwood Heights care home team in Swanley. This part‑time role is 20 hours per week with pay £13.20 per hour.

You will maintain high cleanliness across resident rooms and communal areas, perform daily cleaning and deep-clean routines, and handle laundry with care, all while supporting infection control with a friendly team. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience (care home experience is a bonus but not essential).
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A warm and respectful approach when working in residents’ personal spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across residents’ rooms and communal areas throughout the home.
• Carrying out daily cleaning routines and deep-clean schedules.
• Ensuring laundry is washed, dried, and returned promptly.
• Supporting infection control procedures.
• Working as part of a friendly team that puts residents’ wellbeing first.
