Job summary

Mariner Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care under RN/LPN supervision. You will take vital signs, assist with daily living activities, monitor fluids, and help maintain a safe environment.

You will document and report changes promptly, support dementia care, and participate in care planning and routine rounds. Strong communication and basic math skills are required, along with graduation from an approved CNA program.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and measurements.
• Ability to understand and apply written instructions and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure height and weight; track weight changes.
• Record intake/output and fluid balance.
• Care for residents' environment and report changes to supervisor.
• Assist with activities of daily living and hygiene.
• Provide and reinforce care per care plan and reassess as needed.
• Support residents with dementia and behavioral needs.
• Assist with transfer, positioning, feeding and hydration.
• Observe skin, report changes, and provide skin care.
• Assist with rehabilitation/restorative nursing tasks.
• Participate in resident assessments and care planning.
