Qualifications

• Graduate of state approved nursing assistant training program
• Passed state approved competency exam within 120 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs
• Measure height and weight
• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding and hydration
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the licensed nurse
• Assist with movement, transfers and positioning
• Support residents’ dignity, independence and personal choice

Education
