Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities at our Chesapeake, VA community. You will report incidents, support care plans, and help with meals, mobility, and activities.

Must maintain policies, communicate effectively, and be able to lift and assist residents as needed. Flexible weekends/holidays and CPR/First Aid certification are required or to be obtained within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Plan and conduct resident activity programs.
• Follow confidentiality policies on resident information.
