Job summary

Watercrest Senior Living in Moseley, VA is seeking an Exhausted? Resident Caregiver to join the team and provide compassionate daily care to residents. The role focuses on personal care, daily living activities, and supportive services to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Ability to make independent decisions in daily care scenarios

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks following procedures
• Review and participate in 24 Hour Reports and shift reports
• Assist residents to and from scheduled programs
• Promote independence and respect resident preferences
• Perform laundry tasks as assigned
• Respond to emergency calls promptly
• Follow care protocols and infection control practices
• Report changes to Wellness Nurse or Wellness Director
• Protect residents' confidentiality and rights
• Be prepared for emergencies including disasters and fires
• Maintain a neat uniform and be resident-ready at all times
