Job summary

The Waterford seeks a compassionate caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, meal service, and housekeeping tasks. The role includes documenting changes in residents' conditions and following care plans under supervision.

You will engage with residents, assist with admissions and orientation of new staff, and participate in mandatory meetings while maintaining safety and infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate, caring, and able to communicate with residents and staff.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and stay calm under pressure.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English adequately.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL assistance and supervision of personal cares for residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving and maintain cleanliness of environment.
• Perform laundry tasks and engage residents in social activities.
• Adhere to shift reports and communicate changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow care plans and document changes in condition and notify supervisor.
