Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Denton, TX seeks a compassionate Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and encourage participation in daily and social activities. You will work as part of a caring team to improve residents' quality of life and ensure safety and cleanliness within the community.

Strong communication in English and prior caregiving experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate with residents and staff.
• Experience in caregiving or elder care preferred.
• Ability to pass required state tests (CPR/First Aid/food handlers) if required.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engages residents in conversation, social activities, and personal care.
• Responds promptly to resident needs and requests for care.
• Assists in dining room during meals.
• Encourages participation in activities and outings; assists as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of the community and tidies resident rooms.
• Assists with resident laundry per shift guidelines.
