Job summary

Spring Fields Senior Living is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide routine daily care and services to residents in accordance with each resident's assessment and care plan. You will assist with meals, personal hygiene, mobility, and daily activities while maintaining a warm, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include recording care notes, reporting changes to the Health and Wellness Director, helping residents with daily functions, and ensuring rooms are prepared and safe.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials; write reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Mathematical skills: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily care and services as per each resident's assessment and care plan.
• Greet residents, escort to rooms, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Record care notes, SPAs, and incident reports in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Health and Wellness Director promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information; proper disclosure procedures.
• Prepare resident rooms, assist with meals, and support daily functions.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning; observe for skin breakdown.
• Document care notes accurately; report accidents or incidents to supervisor.
